Lachur was an artist, as well one of the founders of the Animated Film Studio and its first director. A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, his works were exhibited in venues at home and abroad, and could be found in collections of George Harrison, Jacqueline Kennedy, and Barbra Streisand. In 1961, he received an award from the Ministry of Culture and Art, and in 1979 he was given a medal by the Israeli Yad Vashem Institute in recognition of his work devoted to the Jewish people.

Film critic and columnist. For years, he served in high-ranking positions on the Cinematography Committee and the editorial board of the Feature and Documentary Film Studio in Warsaw. Schönborn also sat on the Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Sites. He was a contributing author for Film and Kino magazines, and also worked as a cultural organizer and expert for the Polish Film Institute.

An economist by education, he spent years at the helm of the Animated Film Studio. A mathematics teacher and former principal of the Technical High School for Workers in Bielsko-Biała, Lubowski was very intent on expanding the Studio. He wanted to build two more halls, one for photography, the other for chemical processing. He was the first director to suggest the idea of the Studio having its own cinema.

Kudła has also received an award from the Minister of Culture and Art.

A Jagiellonian University graduate, he’s a screenwriter and director, who joined the Animated Film Studio in 1984. He co-authored the scripts for a number of films (including Bolek i Lolek na Dzikim Zachodzie [Bolek and Lolek in the Wild West] and Gwiazda Kopernika [The Star of Copernicus]), TV series (such as Podróże kapitana Klipera [Captain Kliper’s Travels] and Kuba and Śruba [Kuba and Śruba]). He debuted as a director in 1988, with the film Animalki.
